December 30, 2008 Update: Result of 3rd planning

Thanks to the DREAMTEAM: Ricky, Odeck, JJ, Tats, Pammy, Joy.. we have so far agreed on as follows:

The 2009 LCCD Batch 94 Homecoming

DATE: Black Saturday April 11, 2009 (over the objections of Father Juvenson)
TIME: 3:00pm onwards (two separate events, pangpamilya sa umaga, pang bagets sa gabi)
VENUE: Daet (no specific place but it was suggested sa Garden View and Music Theater)

COMMITTEES:
1. Advertisements, Publications, Invites Committee: Imee Talavera, Ivy Gay Guiang, Melody Ramores, Grace Regnim, Eric Basit, Madonna Obusan, Angelo Coreses, Mita Brinas. Subcommittees were created for this purpose, per town and per batch.. (We have updated the database and will email to you asap or upon your request)

We further agreed that the contribution will no longer be voluntary.... while your presence is MORE IMPORTANT than anything else in the world (naks!)... a minimum of Php200.00 (and a maximum of an undetermined generous amount) will be determineable of the success of this event. Any amount in excess will serve as revolving fund for the next reunions.

I have volunteered my bank account at BPI Daet (BPI Express International Savings Account No. 589559 3459 0319 86) for fund transfers local and abroad as a mode of sending your contributions. Please inform our Finance Committee Chair (a.k.a. banker) JJ Ong (90920-9504823/ 0923-524 35 66/ 532-81 32) or Me (0917 871 83 39) if any deposit had been made because we intend to publish the details of money matters for transparency reasons.

Here's my newly refurbished blogspot account to cater for the 2009 LCCD Batch 1994 Grand Alumni Homecoming. "Grand" kasi super tagal na... it'll be our 15th year!

Although we have a very gorgeous website account at http://lccd94.com/ and a yahoogroups account at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lccd94/ angkaso, I heard that some people couldn't view the sites, kasi medyo di kaya ng powers ng mga hindi masyado techie (like me once upon a time) hehehehe. I'll just post all the blogs here in both sites to update you guys...

Feel free to (1) view this page, (2) make comments/suggestions, (3) contact the organizers or (4) just be updated regularly.

Last reunion(2004), I (a.k.a. Melita Pilar P. Brinas; a.k.a. Mita; a.k.a Tamits), along with Erlieck Factor and several others were appointed/ elected (rather forcibly) to take charge of the next reunion (2009). But I could not recall who were the officers down the line... paramdam naman kayo please?!!!

Anyhow, with or without any "pagpaparamdam" from the "officers", we: Me, Martha Vinzons, Mary Joy Gache, Mylene Mera, Lourdes Ibasco, Eric Basit, Erlieck Factor, Emmanuel Basit, Eugenio Dorado, Allan Ramores, Johann Ramores, JJ Ong, Ricky Villafuerte, Pamela Mercado, Roderick Latumbo and Father Juvenson Alarcon, deemed it proper to begin with planning- and we made several attempts, on separate occasions, to wit:

1. The first meeting was sometime on December of 2007, at the Shakey's Restaurant, Daet. We planned, and planned and ate... I think I misplaced the notes which I made on a Shakey's paper table mat...

2. The second meeting was sometime in 2008 (nakalimutan ko exact date) at Robinsons Place's CoffeeBean, with Tats, Joy, Erlieck, Mylene...we planned again... and planned and planned... Im very poor with logistics but I retained the minutes- fortunately!!!

3. The third meeting was December 30, 2008 at my house, and I (Mita) think I texted 30 people but only 6 people came, namely: Tats, Joy, Pammy, Ricky, Odeck and JJ- the DREAMTEAM. The details of the minutes is on the next blog.

Nonetheless, we made committees, subcommittees, updated our database, and assigned people without their consent.. hehehehe...
